Neel has an early morning this morning, and for a change, I had trouble getting up too. We both stumbled down stairs (chatting sleepily), and while he made the coffee, I turned on the computer and opened up my calendar.

"Oh! Happy Anniversary!" I guess we're pretty low key around here this year. Doesn't mean I'm not endlessly in love with him and grateful everyday that he married me. Life gets in the way, in the best of ways, you know?

I feel like this weekend was one where I needed one more day. Every have those? What, every weekend? Wink. Poor Cal had a rough go. Lots of make-up homework, kept his fingers to the keyboard (the new "nose to the grindstone?"), and he lost his beloved baseball glove at the ball field on Saturday. Just some hard days for my boy.

So we were out both evenings this weekend, which was really nice, but I don't love, and we missed our beach walk, which I really don't love. And now I'm starting the week feeling a bit scattered and behind it all. It looks like all I did all weekend was eat though doesn't it? I'm so tempted to have one of these recaps be nothing but pictures of food. Wouldn't that be fun?
