Oh, it was one of those weekends where I don't have pictures of the things I should write about, and the things I'm thinking about writing about aren't really forming full thoughts in my brain. In my defense, it is early.

I made a pie.

This is a new process to me and I'm ridiculously excited about it.

Cal and I spent Saturday evening helping our friends Jackie and Terry with their new business, Bodacious Pizza. It was so much fun. And wood fired pizza! I tried to take pictures while we were working, but it was hard to do both. And then I spent all day Sunday recovering while Cal spent Sunday at Busch Gardens. We all feel like we came out winners in that little game. He had a mini reunion with some of the kids from the Page Program and got a behind-the-scenes tour of the park. And I didn't have to go on roller coasters. Win-win.

And that was the weekend. Neel worked almost all weekend (there may have been a nap), and I worked some of it. We took some walks and helped some friends. All the tiny moments that make up our days. Interesting perhaps, only to me. It's the last week of summer vacation, and of course the forecast is rainy. I'm mostly signing off here for the week, but so I can soak up every soggy minute, but I will be back here to collect my thoughts and favorite photographs from our latest run of #perception_collection on Friday. It was fun this go, wasn't it? So many beautiful photos and wonderful participants. My heart is full.
